TECT All Terrain Park
1650ha of outdoor playground. What more could you want in the Bay of Plenty?
TECT All Terrain Park is an outdoor open activity area that caters for all sorts of recreation, sport and hobby based activities. Since opening to the public in 2008 the park has continued to grow and develop. Public facilities include picnic areas, BBQs and toilets at the Arrival Centre at the park entry. There are developed tracks throughout the park for walking, running, equestrian and mountain biking, even including an off the leash dog exercise park.
The Park is divided into different zones catering for the needs of different users and the activities they undertake.

What’s on offer
Equestrian
Available in the Northwest corner of the park, equestrian facilities include horse pens, large shelters, picnic tables, round yard, water for stock, toilets and approx. 20-25km of horse tracks.
Mountain Biking
The Buffalo Girl Track is a 10km return, intermediate to advanced dirt track primarily designed for mountain bikes. It can also be used for walking and running.
Off-leash Dog Area
The Off-leash Dog Exercise Area is an approx. 1ha dog park that is fully fenced and suitable for all types of dogs over the age of 4 months.
Adrenalin Forest BOP
A high wire adventure course featuring exciting multi-level aerial obstacles with 6 pathways of progressive difficulty over 2km in length.
Te Matai Motorsport
Te Matai Motorsport Inc (TMMI) represents a range of affiliated motorsport clubs and has exclusive use of the 360ha Te Matai block located between Te Matai and Whataroa Road.
Tga Motorcycle Club
There are both public and club motorcycle tracks available. There is currently no charge to use the public tracks and there are a variety of configurations. The club track is for Tga Motorcycle Club use only.
BOP Clay Target Assoc
A Tauranga based club that represents members interested in clay target shooting and competitions with a custom designed facility that includes 4 trap shooting fields, 1 ball traps, 3 skeet fields and sporting clays.
Tga Pistol Club
Tauranga Pistol Club shoots most weekends and features a variety of shooting competitions such as Service Match, ISSF, IPSC, 3 Gun and Cowboy Action Shoots.
NZ Deerstalkers Assoc
A Tauranga based club that represents members interest in target shooting and hunting. Public open days are scheduled for the last Sunday of every month.
Tga Airsoft Club
Tauranga Airsoft Club plays Airsoft every second Sunday. New players are always welcome and hire gear is available for anyone wanting to give the sport a go.
BOP Paintball Club
The BOP Paintball Club caters for players of all ages and levels of experience on their custom built paintball field.
Tga Model Aircraft Club
The Tauranga Model Aircraft Club has an excellent flying site and has negotiated with the CAA to have a flight ceiling height of up to 1,000 feet (standard flight height restrictions are 400 feet).
